Can’t attend the meeting? MTHS 2025 Picture Calendars will be available starting in mid-to late-November at:
- Chuck’s Place in Thiensville
- Thiensville and Mequon branches of Port Washington State Bank
- Thiensville Village Hall
The MTHS 2025 Historic Picture Calendars are free for members of MTHS, or they can be purchased for $10.00 each.

Annual Meeting Information:
The Mequon-Thiensville Historical Society Annual Meeting to be held at The Mequon Nature Preserve on November 10, 2024 1:30 p.m. Doors open 1 p.m. and the even program begins at 2 p.m. with our esteemed speakers.
Event Speakers:
Kristin Thiel – Executive Director, Mequon Nature Preserve
Christine Nuernberg – Former Mayor, City of Mequon, and MNP Champion
During our program, the speakers will trace from when European settlers first came to the area, to the development of family farm, and to the implementation of a 150-year land restoration program to re-establish wetlands, prairies, and forests.
You will year about the end of. farming community and the emergence of a unique outdoor educational setting where students of all ages are learning and conducting research on how to restore the land to a time prior to European settlement.
